Discourse Markers trong Speaking IELTS

Discourse markers là những từ hoặc cụm từ dùng để nối các ý với nhau. Sử dụng discourse markers sẽ giúp phần thi speaking của bạn trở lên lưu loát và tự nhiên giống người bản ngữ hơn. Thỉnh thoảng discourse markers cũng là cứu cánh để chúng ta chêm vào những chỗ bị ngắc ngứ, tạm thời chưa nghĩ ra ý hay từ để diễn đạt.

Tuy nhiên lưu ý rằng discourse markers sử dụng trong Speaking không giống với discourse markers sử dụng trong Writing. Đặc biệt là tính chất bài thi Speaking của IELTS khá là informal nên các từ như Moreover, Therefore, As a result,… hầu như không phù hợp mà thay vào đó là And, So, You know, Actually, In fact, I mean,… . Vì thế tìm hiểu kỹ về Discourse Markers trong Speaking là cần thiết.
